2020 Carrabassett Fat Tire Race

February 1st, 2020 was the date for the annual Carrabassett Fat Tire race at the Sugarloaf Outdoor Center. This year conditions were prime for the 4 lap 20 mile race or the 2 lap 10 mile race. Fatbiking is a great way to enjoy the area with lots of specifically groomed singletrack, snowmobile trails as well as limited riding at the Sugarloaf Outdoor Center. End of season update: Carrabassett Mountain Bike Trail Crew

We caught up with the Carrabassett Valley Trail Builders to get an update on what’s been done this summer. The mountain bike trails continue to impress year after year. The guys are doing world class work. The Carrabassett Trailbuilders along with help from The Carrabassett Region chapter of the New England Mountain Bike Association have made lots of progress this past summer.
