The local snowmobile clubs in the area are those to thank for the great riding we currently have. Mostly volunteers, they’re out grooming, cutting back brush, maintaining signage and much much more. Whether you use the snowmobile trails for XC Skiing, Fat Biking, Snowshoeing or of course Snowmobiling, support the hard work that goes into the trails by joining a club. Between Kingfield and Carrabassett lies a very special spot. A short .6 mile hike leads you to a spectacular waterfall along Reed Brook which originates from Shiloh Pond and feeds into the Carrabassett river. A local Maine Guide has put lots of work into creating a safe parking area and well maintained trail reroute to maximize the experience of the falls. A great adventure for the whole family.
