Carrabassett Valley Recreation Department Update: August 2026

We met up with Alison Thayer- Recreation Director for the town of Carrabassett Valley, as well as Garrett Corbin- Carrabassett Valley Town Manager, to find out the latest with goings on and happenings inside the CV Recreation Department. We met at the Outdoor Center in Carrabassett, a gorgeous backdrop and starting point for “most” things involving summer recreation in the area. The Outdoor Center is being utilized for lots of programming and you are encouraged to take advantage of its offerings.
