Cathedral Pines Pathways & Eustis Ridge Overlook

Just north of Sugarloaf in Eustis are the unique “Cathedral Pines”. Beautiful tall Red Pines that tower above the landscape. On the corner of Eustis Ridge Road and Rt27 are some nice and easy trails to explore the Cathedral Pine forest. Great for hiking and biking in the summer months, and groomed xc ski trails and snowshoeing in the winter.
Just about a mile and a half up Eustis Ridge road on your right you’ll find the Eustis Ridge Overlook park. Picnic tables and great views of the Bigelow range can be enjoyed here… [Read more…]

The falls can be reached a variety of ways, including via a loop hike on the Maine Huts and Trails trail system. This hike is perfect for all abilities and can also be a great snowshoe in the winter months.
