Get it while you can: Paddling the Carrabassett River

Many folks don’t like the rain. If you enjoy the local rivers and streams, especially by the power of a paddle than the rain is a good thing. Take a Hike! Larry’s Loop

Nestled within the woods of Carrabassett Valley lies a wonderful natural feature known as Poplar Stream Falls. The falls can be reached a variety of ways, including via a loop hike on the Maine Huts and Trails trail system. This hike is perfect for all abilities and can also be a great snowshoe in the winter months.
