October 26, 2016 by WSKI Leave a Comment

…we’ve come a LONG way since Hopkins demonstrated this gun on the Landing in the early 1980s! This is always an exciting time of year; getting ready to make it & anticipating the season ahead… Love Our Snowmakers throughout the years; they are VITAL to our Mountain, & all of us!!

Dreaming of a new place to call home?

October 25, 2016 by WSKI Leave a Comment

Rare opportunity! Land that is fertile for gardening, 1500′ river frontage, two ponds, barn, garage…all on 18 acres that can all be your own, with the most classic New England Cape beautifully renovated & loved by families for generations. Present owners now have an ’empty nest’, so time for another family to live their dream, close to schools & downtown Kingfield, & only 16 miles from the Mountain.

An old end-of-summer ritual…..

October 15, 2016 by WSKI Leave a Comment

Nothing said Good-bye to the warmer months like the closing of the Golf Course after Homecoming at Sugarloaf! Years ago a typically irreverent “Golf Tournament to Benefit Nobody” was started by Gepetto’s, which was a long-standing occasion for one last summer BBQ & hoorah before preparations began for a new ski season! Plenty of laughs made up for the lack of expertise, with locals & friends from afar joining in the day (weekend!) of awesome scenery & even more awesome camaraderie on the links!
