Reggae Fest is coming!
It’s hard to imagine there’s ever been a time without Sugarloaf’s now world famous Reggae Fest, but as it so happens a mere 25 years ago the festival premiered for the very first time. It could hardly be called a festival back then, but today it’s one of the highlights of the year, an annual event every Sugarloafer looks forward to. And thanks to the return of cold temperatures it looks like we’ll be skiing during the Fest as well, something that seemed downright unthinkable just a week ago! Before winch cats on Gondola Line; no better place for Spring Bumps!
When it comes to entertainment, an old favorite for hooting & hollering & a lot of laughs, was always upper Gogo Line on a spring day at Sugarloaf; whether skiing or watching, the huge bumps back in the days of long boards, really separated the Good from the (pretty) Bad & (downright) Ugly! The natural moguls still grow on Gondi Line this time of year when the snow is soft & corny; it’s one of the unique bonuses for those of us who call Sugarloaf our home hill.
