Mountain Biking in Carrabassett; Narrow Gauge Singletrack

If you’re coming up to Carrabassett Valley and like to mountain bike you need to check out the trails in the area. The past few years the mountain bike scene has exploded thanks to the construction of miles and miles of both hand built and machine built single-track trails. There is truly something for everyone here in Carrabassett.
If you’re looking for an easy introduction to the mountain bike trails, a great spot to check out is the Narrow Gauge single-track. Easy to get to from the Sugarloaf Outdoor Center, they are a ton of fun! Check out the video to see more! [Read more…]

Powder magazine is what you look to for the most thrilling images to feed a skier/snowboarder’s dreams! So how did these three guys who have been skiing Sugarloaf for 50+ years manage to get a major story in the December issue? It’s all about attitude! Non-pretentious, serious skiing is what Sugarloaf, the Mountain, has always been about. Ostentatious, dry humor is what ‘Sugarloaf’ has always been about! Early Mtn. Manager John Christie, “Captain America” Peter Roy, & First in Line Don Fowler share some laughs on WSKI’s Evening show January 14.
