Winds reached 171 mph at the top of Mt. Washington on Monday. Winds were high enough here to cause the communications tower at the 4237′ summit to topple over. Woah. Back again for the Charity Summit: our favorite Senator & our favorite Son of Maine
No doubt about it. In Maine, we like our celebrities to have a big dose of humility, no matter how big they get! Both Angus King & Patrick Dempsey are awesome ambassadors for the Pine Tree State wherever they are, DC or Hollywood, home or around the world, of which we are so proud! We also are thankful that their devotion to helping find cures for, care for its victims, & continue to fight against cancer through fund-raising, is important to them both, & so they generously give their time to be here for the Charity Summit. Super stoked to have them with us in the studio this morning. We all join the cause to cease cancer’s evil; see you tonight at the Ball… come w/ your wallets well padded!!
