Thankful? … you bet; for guys like these who made our Mtn. into the Legend it is in the East!

This casual conversation between original Sugarloaf patrollers Stub Taylor & Dana Wallace was captured in the Patrol Locker Room in Admin. during the early 1990s. It is a gem for the memories they share! It’s hard to imagine how different things were 60 years ago, but it’s easy to see this hard-core skiers’ mountain, has been respected & revered, & deeply loved, by three generations now! This seemed a good time  for us at WSKI to remind everyone of all the gratitude we have for those who have gone before to make the Mountain what it is today!

Sugarloaf Aviation’s owner Sawyer Fahey recently paid us a visit to tell our viewers about scenic flights & even flying lessons that he offers out of the Carrabassett Airport all year-round! An incredible way to get the lay of the land & enjoy the beauty of the mountains & lakes from above, with Sugarloaf’s dome a real star attraction!

Jeff Ryan brought his refreshing blend of insights, humor, history and geology into the WSKI studio. You can’t walk 8,000 miles without developing a unique view of the world and an ability to find complete contentment along the way. Ryan does it with entertaining flare.
