A nice easily accessible spot to take your canoe, kayak or paddle board. Launch your boat at the boat launch in Stratton off rt 27. Paddle left, or West, heading up the river. Carrabassett Valley Outdoor Association Shooting Range

located just past the top of Bigelow hill off of rt 27, you’ll find the CVOA (Carrabassett Valley Outdoor Association) Shooting Range. With something for every type of shooting it’s a must do while you’re in the area. The range is open to the public with shoots scheduled every weekend.
