CBCC race weekend is almost here!

The Carrabassett Backcountry Cycle Challenge is coming up this weekend. Racers from all over the country will be in Carrabassett Valley to participate in 25K, 50K or 100K races on some of the best, and toughest trails in the state. Don’t forget there’s also a kids race! Grand Falls; Scenic Drive and Hike

Looking to get out and Explore this weekend? Check out Grand Falls! A series of logging roads will get you about a mile from the falls. A vehicle with higher clearance is recommended and be sure to get out and check out any rough spots just to be safe. Fuel up beforehand and grab some food or supplies at the local establishments in Carrabassett, Stratton and Eustis. Also, don’t forget the bug spray and bug nets as the black flies and mosquitos are out in full force… enjoy, be smart and be safe! [Read more…]
