Paddling on the Chain of Ponds, Foliage is coming…
Fall foliage may come a bit early this season due to the dry conditions, so don’t miss it. Some great scenery can be had by exploring the Chain of Ponds by canoe or kayak. There are a few different areas to launch your boat, and hours of paddling to explore this very scenic area just south of the Canadian border and just north of Eustis. Shiloh Pond Community Forest
Shiloh Pond Community Forest in Kingfield is home to two ponds and a waterfall, all accessible by foot on generally easy terrain. The ponds are fly fishing only and are home to native Brook Trout.
