Sugarloaf Fat Tire Festival
Sugarloaf, along with help from CR NEMBA and Maine Huts and Trails are hosting the first ever Fat Tire Festival on April 4th at Sugarloaf. Popularity of Fat Bikes has skyrocketed in the last few years and this event is an oppurtunity to try out some bikes, race, participate in group rides, have fun and much more! Oak Knoll mountain bike trail is Open!
A collaboration between Maine Huts and Trails, The Town of Carrabassett Valley and the Carrabassett Region chapter of the New England Mountain Bike association, the Oak Knoll trail is 3 miles long and travels from the Narrow Gauge trail to Maine Huts and Trails’ Stratton Brook Hut.
