Winds reached 171 mph at the top of Mt. Washington on Monday. Winds were high enough here to cause the communications tower at the 4237′ summit to topple over. Woah. So, as you can imagine the lifts are on wind hold and they’ll be some big snowdrifts for the groomers to push through later. There’s still plenty to do off the hill on a day like today.
