We live where Mother Nature gives us an outstanding backdrop all year round, which draws some really talented people to the Maine High Peaks, one of whom is Joe Gambino, who turned his love of photography into an official business as more and more people discovered his excellent eye! The CV Library is exhibiting his work now thru February, stop in and see for yourself! Even better, there’s a wine & cheese reception for Joe at the Library on Feb. 24 at 4:30 so you can meet him yourself… wicked nice guy, be sure to put that on your calendar!
Wind Holds. Ski areas’ most hated conditions report!
Here’s an old video on what the process entails before any lifts have to be shut down, something no ski area ever wants to do, but most have to from time to time, including us: at 4237 feet, our big mountain is often a big target for breezes, too!
