Paige paid us a visit last weekend when they were doing the Blues; this weekend, they’ll have non-stop reggae, of course, all Saturday!
Plus, We’ve got the jams, you are invited to play outside!
Have you ever played volleyball in the snow? Played badminton next to a mountain? Sunk a cornhole ace on a T-rex? They’ve extended their outdoor porch area to incorporate a Volleyball court, a badminton net, cornhole, an outdoor bar AND a grill station.
NO COVER CHARGE for anything all weekend…..
Let’s make this a weekend to remember at the foot of the Birches!
Spring is Sugarloaf’s special season. Has been since long before reggae: Stan Leen’s Easter Party footage from the past
Hands down, the best party of the year at Sugarloaf was thanks to the generosity of one of our Mountain’s real Legends, Stan Leen of Bangor! His punch that went down like lemonade on a spring day was a real equalizer; old or young, expert or beginner, no talk of how long how anyone had been skiing here, we just did it, lived it, loved it as happy equals. Here’s Ski School’s finest, & others, some familiar faces who still are seen around here! Here’s to April here forever… we realy DO own Lift serviced Spring Skiing like no one else….
Season’s Wrap Chat with Karl Strand on our Mountain Report this morning
A big Thank you to the head of our resort, Karl Strand, for being WSKI’s guest to share with our viewers Management’s thoughts on how this season has gone, & what’s next for the resort in the months ahead. We know Sugarloaf’s clientele appreciate hearing what’s going on upstairs in Admin. Glad they took us up on the invite to share this with anyone who is interested in what’s happening with our Mountain!
From Kingfield to Stratton, here’s three of our visits for this Friday’s Weekend Warm-up
We represent the WHOLE region! Our viewers Know Before They Go. Our Region’s Guests have a better experience here as a result of our information, & our Sponsors get the chance to use our services to increase their exposure all year round with timely messages, not just available on Cable, but here, too. Love Our Sponsors. Love the Maine High Peaks Region. This is why YOU love WSKI & have made us the Most Watched Local TV Station for over 30 years…..!
More from a real Local on Adventures/Tales from Life in Eustis & more/beyond!
What’s a picture of the old fire tower on top of Bigelow got to do with a guest on our Mountain Report?? You will find out when you listen to our friend & a favorite guest in our studio, the always wicked interesting multi-generational local historian with no moss growing under his feet, Kenny Wing! Photo from Jay Wyman, ANOTHER multi-generational local who posted it just before we uploaded Kenny’s interview, how awesome is that for timing??? Thanks for another of your pics, AGAIN, Jay!
