Take a Hike! Tumbledown Mtn.

Looking for something to do? Love the Outdoors? Last weeks warm weather get you all fired up for warm weather activities? Well, your in luck. A great “springtime” hike or first hike of the season is Tumbledown mtn just north of Weld in Franklin county.  We took the Brook trail up to the summit of west peak on Tumbledown and enjoyed a great hike with spectacular views. Thanks to the Arnold Trail Snowmobile Club, there are miles & miles of groomed trails in all directions! 24hr. grooming on over 150 miles of the largest Club in Maine’s trails, makes this region a snowmobiler’s dream whether you are doing a local trip for the day, or visiting Rangeley to the west or the Forks to the east, or even planning an international journey north to the Quebec trails, you’ll be blown away by the beauty of the scenery & the quality of the trails. With All This New Snow, It's Time to Learn Moguls with Perfect Turn

It may have taken us until March, but we finally have enough snow out on the trails to give us some proper bumps! Moguls are one of the most difficult types of terrain to ski, let alone look good doing it. Fortunately, we’ve got the Sugarloaf Ski & Snowboard School here to give us some pointers on how to gracefull glide over those big bumps.
