Deb Bowker is CV’s Rec Director & you’d be hard pressed to find anyone else who so perfectly fits the bill for all the challenges the Town faces to continue to improve the many ways to have fun in CV all year round, including under the roof of the Anti-Gravity Complex, no matter what the weather is doing outside!
Labor Day this weekend; the end of summer is nigh! Fall is a wicked nice time of the year in the mountains. The SuperQuad operates on weekends (weather permitting) as the gondi used to run daily during the foliage season; pic of Rosemary Drosky at mid-station on the way down in 1987. Vids from the summit (Rebecca Carey!) & of newly re-created East side of the Mtn.
Last spring we had two local Maine Guides, Lani Love, owner at Allagash Canoe Trips, & Kimberly Truskowski, a Kripalu yoga teacher, on our Mountain Report to invite viewers to come explore the incredible gem that the Allagash wilderness is this summer/fall! There is still time to sign up for five days of peaceful canoe camping and yoga on the legendary Allagash. Dates are September 10-14, find Lani & Kimberly on Facebook.

Note the changes in bikes & tires since then!!!!!
