Now that Reggae fest has past and the summer season is in sight, it’s time to make summer plans. There are lots of options here in the Valley to participate as well as employment opportunities. Maine Kayak Expeditions run by the owners of Happy Tunes offers summer kayaking trips on both Flagstaff Lake as well as the famous Rapid River. Talk about making memories that will last a lifetime! In addition Carrabassett Valley’s Outdoor Adventure camp also provides activities for kids. OAC is currently hiring camp counselors, JR Counselors and Counselors in training. As the ski tuning starts to wind down and we look ahead at the warmer seasons, it’s time to start thinking of some outdoor adventures.
