Reed Brook Falls
Between Kingfield and Carrabassett lies a very special spot. A short .6 mile hike leads you to a spectacular waterfall along Reed Brook which originates from Shiloh Pond and feeds into the Carrabassett river. A local Maine Guide has put lots of work into creating a safe parking area and well maintained trail reroute to maximize the experience of the falls. A great adventure for the whole family. From hiking, biking, swimming, paddling and just enjoying the beautiful landscape around us, CV Recreation Department knows it’s important to get kids outside and able to appreciate what we have right in our big backyard.
