Prime rib is what they are famous for, but everything on the newly revised menu by Chris looks delicious, so take a drive for lunch or dinner on a chilly Saturday to a place that’s fed sportsmen of all genres for decades! Lots of locals — everyone seems to know everyone else, with the kind of simple cooking done well that is so hard to find. Thursday is ‘2-fer’ night, which includes the prime rib. Good food, fair prices, friendly people.

CV Town manager on CV issues in 2020
Dave Cota is our Town’s orchestrator of all things, & that can be a very challenging position in a Town that is not like anywhere else!! Good or bad, whatever comes our way, Dave & other Town Employees, & our Selectmen/woman are the glue that keeps us all together, & the grease to ensure we’re going forward, too. Thank You, All! http://www.carrabassettvalley.org/
CV ATV & snowmobile clubs receive permission from PIN
One of our favorite people is Carrabassett’s John McCatherin, who is one of the hardest working volunteers any club could ever be fortunate enough to have, making & clearing the recreational trails in CV for decades. He’s also a super communicator whose genuine care for the outdoors we love, made him a part of the origin of CVOA in 1999. His humility & respect for the Penobscot Indian Nation represents us well; that respect & Club commitments to keeping trails CLEAN, has given the PIN reason to let the CV ATV & J V Wing Snowmobile Clubs use the trails on their land in CV. Thank you SO much, John, and to all who promise to bring out what you take in, as they moto-recreate on Penobscot land in our Town….
