We welcomed to Carrabassett Valley seventeen participants, along with representatives from a variety of organizations, who enjoyed a few days learning winter sports new to them. Semper Fi & America’s Fund is dedicated to providing assistance to U.S. combat wounded, critically ill and injured service members, military family members, & veterans, from all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces. With the help of other orgs, programs like these to get veterans outdoors & physically active, is a great path to mental & emotional health, which as WE all know, is a big reason why we live here!
