Fun & Fitness under the Roof of the AGC
No matter the weather, you can always get your energy going at the Anti Gravity Complex just off the bottom of the Sugarloaf Access Rd. next to the Carrabassett Valley Library & Community Center. All ages are welcome with special lessons available on the trampolines, 35′ climbing wall, and the skateboard park & bowl, plus there are regular classes of all types where walk-ins are welcome, in addition to the full weight room, basketball court, & more! Visit the Ski Museum of Maine for a Wintry Blast From the Past
The Ski Museum of Maine recently held its annual Ski Heritage Day here at Sugarloaf. The day included a classic gear photo shoot, a booth displaying some of the photos and memorabilia available at the museum, and of course their live and silent auctions. If you want to visit the museum, it’s just a short drive south into downtown Kingfield, where it’s located above the Sugarloaf Sports Outlet. Kip Files is WSKI’s “On Snow” reporter during weekend mornings as well as holiday weekdays. He lets WSKI viewers know what conditions are like on the slopes of Sugarloaf before anyone else. Kip gets at least 3-4 runs in before the lifts start turning for the public between 7:30 and 8:30am. This service is made possible by the Sugarloaf Ski Shop, and in this clip Sugarloaf Ski Shop manager John Byrne tells us about some excellent deals going on at the ski shop live from the bottom of the Sugarloaf Superquad…
