Marcia White gave us the scoop on Carrabassett Valley’s Outdoor Adventure Campthat starts July 10 and the Western Maine Center for Children bike ride fundraiser on Sunday June 25. Please join in this scenic ride to the Canadian Border if you are hard core to help us fund the independent non-profit child care facility which gives child care for the Kingfield to Eustis area. The Center provides quality licensed childcare for children from ages 8 weeks to 5 years old, located at the base of Sugarloaf Mountain at the Carrabassett Valley Public Library & Community Center building. View from the old Baselodge
It’s been over 30 years since the old Baselodge was taken down and all the spontaneous spring BBQs became a memory, whether from the deck off of Maxwell’s or the benches right in front! It was the best place to hang out & see everything happening on the Bunny Slope, from the Gondola Building to Village Center. Recognize anyone?
