Pro Tour; ski racing for $ revision is exciting to watch for all ages!
Carrabassett Valley Academy’s Kate Webber Punderson remembers when we had these races at Sugarloaf when she was a kid; now this next generation can see it, too, except not here.. down country next weekend. The dual slalom format makes for exciting competition & excellent spectator viewing as well as giving skiers who have raced their whole lives a chance to throw it down for some cash after their amateur racing days are over! Hope this Tour continues to inspire kids (& adults!) into the future!
Shipyard Brew Haus OPEN for the Summer!
On our Friday tour around to see what’s happening this weekend we got some great news from the Shipyard Brew Haus. Another of our Region’s real gems. As if the food, drinks, atmosphere & friendly people weren’t enough, this adorable Golden family alone is worth the wee ride out to Tea Pond’s “Off the Beaten Path” Restaurant & Pub!! Bonus time open as long as we can keep spring at bay; as long as the snow prevails over mud season, jump on your sled, jump into your car, & pay them a visit cuz it really is well worth the trip!!
