West Mountain falls is a great spot to cool off in the hot summer months or just to sit and relax by the West Branch of the Carrabassett River.
To get to the trailhead take the West Mountain road off the Sugarloaf Access rd. Follow signs for the Golf Club and park your vehicle at the clubhouse. Retrace back up the road a couple hundred feet and you’ll see the sign indicating the start of the trail.
