Take a Hike! Fly Rod Crosby Trail / Sandy River Rangeley Lakes RR

Along the Sandy River in historic Phillips Maine is a great short and easy walk along a piece of the Fly Rod Crosby Trail as well as the old Sandy River & Rangeley Lakes Railroad.

Driving Directions to the starting point:
From Kingfield: Take rt 142 into Phillips. Continue onto Main St.Take a left onto rt 149 and cross the Sandy River. Take a left onto Amble St. Park at the gate at the end of Amble St.
From Farmington: Take rt 4 into Phillips. Turn right onto Pleasant st. Continue onto rt 149 crossing the Sandy river. Take a left onto Amble st and park at the gate at the end of Amble st.
