Stoney Brook Mountain Bike Trails
The Stoney Brook Mountain Bike Pod is open for riding for the 2025 season. Located in Wyman just a few miles North of the Sugarloaf Access Road, it has it’s own parking area, kiosk and restroom. This area boasts some great features in a remote mountain setting. Also, across Route 27 is the Stratton Brook Pond Road which allows you access the the Esker Trail, Dead Moose Trail and more backcountry type riding away from the more populated Outdoor Center and Narrow Gauge Pathway Pods. CBCC race weekend is almost here!
The Carrabassett Backcountry Cycle Challenge is coming up this weekend. Racers from all over the country will be in Carrabassett Valley to participate in 25K, 50K or 100K races on some of the best, and toughest trails in the state. Don’t forget there’s also a kids race!
