Marc Bedard, who works at Trafisa, talks with WSKI about the struggles and progress the town is making after the 4th largest rail disaster in Canada’s History.  On  July 6, 2013 a train transporting crude oil derailed causing an explosion that killed 47 people and destroyed 30 buildings – half of Lac Megantic’s Downtown area.  He shared pictures of landmarks being torn down and new construction taking place as the determined community undergoes the extraordinary task of not only rebuilding the downtown area but also relocating it.
