Take a Hike! Little Bigelow

June 3, 2015 by WSKI Leave a Comment

Little Bigelow is a great hike offering various terrain and views…
To get to the trailhead:

marathon

Now in its 33rd year, the Sugarloaf Marathon is Maine’s oldest continuously run marathon, drawing hundreds of runners from all over the U.S. and Eastern Canada each year. From Cathedral Pines in Eustis to downtown Kingfield, despite the mountainous surroundings, Sugarloaf’s course is widely known as a fast course. The final 16 miles of the course have an elevation loss of 980 feet, helping to make it common for runners to have personal best times on this course.
