A relaxing paddle on the North Branch of the Dead River

The seasons are changing here in Northern Franklin County and the weather is getting cooler. This is a great time to get out in the canoes and kayaks. With the upcoming foliage the lower part of the North Branch of the Dead River in Eustis is a great paddle for all abilities, including kids. Lookin’ for stuff to do this weekend? Here is our status on outdoor activities and current conditions in the area. First off weather; it’s looking like Saturday will be the pick of the weekend as that’s the day we should see some bright sunshine. Temperatures are still a bit chilly especially after experiencing last week’s record breaking heat.
