While it may not feel like summer outside lately, fingers crossed that the weeks ahead will. We’re looking forward to the mountain bike trails drying out and opening back up. With that, means the annual mountain bike camp brought to you by the town of Carrabassett’s recreation department. We hope things will go as planned this summer and the camp can continue to provide fun, healthy, outdoor activities to both local kids and some from away. 2020 Carrabassett Fat Tire Race
February 1st, 2020 was the date for the annual Carrabassett Fat Tire race at the Sugarloaf Outdoor Center. This year conditions were prime for the 4 lap 20 mile race or the 2 lap 10 mile race. Fatbiking is a great way to enjoy the area with lots of specifically groomed singletrack, snowmobile trails as well as limited riding at the Sugarloaf Outdoor Center.
