WSKI’s sponsors keep us on the air and we couldn’t stay #1 for all these years without their support, so when out & about, please support them, too!! From eats to treats, summer beverages to winter’s joy. With a variety of things to do and places to visit further afield in the Maine High Peaks, en route, or travelling elsewhere in the Pine Tree State, explore these options.

Hard to keep up with all that’s happening in Carrabassett Valley!
Deb Bowker is CV’s Rec Director & you’d be hard pressed to find anyone else who so perfectly fits the bill for all the challenges the Town faces to continue to improve the many ways to have fun in CV all year round, including under the roof of the Anti-Gravity Complex, no matter what the weather is doing outside!
Canoe camping and yoga on the Allagash
Last spring we had two local Maine Guides, Lani Love, owner at Allagash Canoe Trips, & Kimberly Truskowski, a Kripalu yoga teacher, on our Mountain Report to invite viewers to come explore the incredible gem that the Allagash wilderness is this summer/fall! There is still time to sign up for five days of peaceful canoe camping and yoga on the legendary Allagash. Dates are September 10-14, find Lani & Kimberly on Facebook.
1992 Downhill Mountain Bike Racing at Sugarloaf
As Carrabassett Valley’s miles of mountain bike trails grow & get more popular every year, here’s a reminder of the days when the Mountain had mountain biking DOWNHILL style… made only more fun w/ damp & foggy conditions for mud & slick cruising for this version of a wicked fun gravity sport, not for the faint hearted or those afraid of more than a faceful of dirt!!! Note the changes in bikes & tires since then!!!!!
