Local Alpine Racing Specialists!
Mike Savage and Sam Morse are both locally grown alpine racers who have Carrabassett Valley Academy as part of their background of academic and athletic excellence that has led to success for both Mike & Sam! Mike was one of CVA’s first graduates in the 1980s & after coaching out-of-State for several years, he has returned in recent years to coach CVA’s current racers. Sam graduated two years ago & is now on the US Ski Team, & we ALL are very proud to have another awesome local representing us so well on the world stage! Proud of you, guys!! Go Fast!!
Alex Tuttle keeps ascending!!!!
Local kids are always a source of pride for us in the western mountains of Maine, as we have seen many star athletes & wonderful people all around, grow up with the work ethic, outdoors appreciation, & willingness to set & achieve goals that drives us forward, no matter what life’s hassles throw at you! For Alex Tuttle of Stratton, his goals were forming in his mind very early, & with the chance to attend Carrabassett Valley Academy & be mentored by our two-time Boardercross Olympic Gold Champion Seth Wescott, the climb to the top is well underway!
