The Lights are Back On at the Neighbors’ & we are SO glad!

February 18, 2021 by WSKI

Northern Franklin County has missed Saddleback being open the past few years; the jobs, the family recreational opportunities, one of the gems in the crown of outdoor attractions that make our region a destination, GONE! But no more, & things are looking not only UP but forward, BIG time. Enjoy this conversation w/ two Andys; a chat w/ the key man in charge of getting the lights on, & SO much more, (like one of our favorite subjects at WSKI.. a New Chairlift!) that gets you up the Mtn. in 4 minutes….

Mtn ops update from Crusher

February 13, 2021 by WSKI

WSKI checked in with the man in charge to hear from the inside how the Mtn’s been ticking along so far this winter. As always, the hard work of the unseen mechanics at the garage & on the lifts, the first to be seen parking lot attendants & shuttle drivers, & the snowmakers, groomers & lifties (turns out some are all three!!?!) are the only reason the rest of us get to enjoy the slopes as we do. We wish we could do more to thank them all cuz we literally couldn’t do what we love without their diligence to this Mountain! Valentine’s Day maybe a good time to gift a lifty? Take your pick of workers to reward….

WSKI has the best neighbors…

February 7, 2021 by WSKI

The Lift Department is our Front-Line, this season & every season. They get here ridiculously early, never knowing on a windy day if they’ll get sent home, they are out all day in temperatures & conditions that most won’t walk to their mailbox in. We love them all because they represent what makes this Mountain the Best. Thank You All, veterans to newbies!
