And so much more at the Made in Maine shops in Skowhegan and Rangeley, also. We paid a visit to downtown Kingfield & Julie Swain gave us the scoop on their hats and sweatshirts and heaps of great stuff anyone would love to have! BTW they’re also doing this: “The Kingfield Made in Maine shop would like to convert gently worn ski wear into Scholarships for local kids. We sell all donated winter outerwear at a wicked good price and then donate the proceeds to the Sugarloaf Ski Club to go toward scholarships for kids skiing at Sugarloaf. We raised over $1k last year for the scholarship fund and would like to double that this year! If you would like to donate your ski/snowboard jackets, pants or accessories, please drop off at the shop or text Julie at 207-479-5500 to arrange for pickup.” We are lucky to have the Swains as part of the Maine High Peaks community, thanks Julie & Bill!

Postcards? Posters? Pictures? Local history!! Jay’s collection is a true TREASURE trove!
What a massive, excellent collection of imagery & advertisements of Eustis to Kingfield from days gone by! Jay Wyman’s interest keeps more and more artifacts and information coming his way; we thought we’d share a bit with our viewers! Thanks very much, Jay. Wicked impressive, incredibly cool to see and learn so much we didn’t know about HERE!
Enjoy your stay here, with these businesses to ensure you do!
Places to stay, supplies for adventures, & a guided tour out on the lake, all add to the great year-round destination that IS the Maine High Peaks region!
