Shelley & Lani Talk About The Wounded Warrior Project

Shelley & Lani from CVA stopped by the WSKI Studio to talk about their participation in the grueling World’s Toughest Mudder Competition. Seth Wescott Signs Autographs at the Board Room

Olympic Gold Medal winner and local hero Seth Wescott popped by the Sugarloaf Board Room on Thursday, December 29th to meet, greet and sign his autograph for some very appreciative skiers and riders. Most of the lifts may have been on wind hold, but that didn’t stop people from braving the gusty and cold conditions to get their chance to say hi to Seth and receive their very own autographed poster.

Remember when Sugarloaf hosted the World Heavyweight Championships every year?

Our recollection is that this was the podium scene & weigh-in at the 1984 Heavyweight Championships, with local celebrities Brownie & Zappa doing the announcing & weighing. The ‘Big People’ were always a fun crowd to have at the Mountain, & the event got Sugarloaf more publicity, even nationally, than any other event by far, till its demise shortly after this video’s event!    [Read more…]
