All Year-round, the Perfect Place to buy Special Gifts for Special People

December 19, 2016 by WSKI Leave a Comment

In downtown Kingfield, the Scentsations shop is a good place to visit to find truly unique ideas if you are looking for presents for a friend or family member, or a treat for yourself; old, young, fun, practical, there’s something for everyone! Rose’s profession as a nurse has also resulted in her speciality of customized skin lotions, & that’s important for outdoors enthusiasts, especially in the winter when our skin gets so dehydrated. Shop locally while in the Maine High Peaks Region! Stop by & check out all the treasures at Scentsations, just south of center Kingfield as you come into downtown! [Read more…]

KÜHL Clothing Comes to Sugarloaf

December 7, 2016 by WSKI Leave a Comment

The addition of a new retail outlet in Village South at the base of the mountain, Utah-based KÜHL clothing company, was the topic for our Mountain Report live show last weekend.
Born in the mountains, and anchored in the ski community since the early-eighties, the KÜHL brand has become a staple in the outdoor and active wear segment. The KÜHL brand delivers innovative style and features, using exclusive fabrics with unique weaves and vintage washes to create authentic character in all of its products. The company’s product lines feature men’s and women’s casual, active, and outer wear, in addition to hats, accessories, and kids clothes; great for holiday gift-giving!

Country Mutt; Goodies, Grooming, & day care to come!

December 1, 2016 by WSKI Leave a Comment

Nicole & Melissa were our guests to share info on their new (since spring) business in Kingfield for pets & their owners, Country Mutt. Services such as wash & groom & nail cutting for critters of all sorts are a needed addition to what we have on offer to residents & visitors to the Maine High peaks year round. Holiday shopping ideas of all sorts, edible & otherwise, are available, as well as quality foods, etc., so stop in see them any day except Sundays… if you might want to use day care services, it would help if you let them know as they plan to offer more services in the future!
