The town of Carrabassett is in the process of producing some new singltrack along the Newton’s Revenge trail which leads up to the Stratton Brook Hut. 1992 Downhill Mountain Bike Racing at Sugarloaf
As Carrabassett Valley’s miles of mountain bike trails grow & get more popular every year, here’s a reminder of the days when the Mountain had mountain biking DOWNHILL style… made only more fun w/ damp & foggy conditions for mud & slick cruising for this version of a wicked fun gravity sport, not for the faint hearted or those afraid of more than a faceful of dirt!!! Note the changes in bikes & tires since then!!!!!
4th of July in CV; it’s a tradition!
