The Mtn’s summer crew who ensure the winter visitors have an excellent experience include trail cutters & bushwackers who really make a difference, guided by the likes of professional Ski Patroller extraordinaire Roddy E. who knows what a good ski line is… and how to ensure Patrol can get you out in case an unexpected tobo ride is necessary… pretty exciting to have more new terrain to explore this season… Off-piste terrain continues to grow & be ever more ski-able; thanks for all the hard work, Summer Crew. THINK SNOW!!!

Shipyard news at Sugarloaf’s Homecoming
One of Maine’s best businesses makes the best brews, & more, and we are always stoked to hear what’s new from the Forsley family & their crew, from the Coast to the mtns! A piece of the Sugarloaf fabric is stopping by the Inn on the Mountain, & since Shipyard’s Brewhaus has been in that space, the perfect blend of old & new makes it the place to be, & remember to look at retail shops, too, for their beers, ales..and more, to serve when entertaining, anytime!
Carrabassett’s Mtn Bike Trail Master Builder & Rider Josh Tauses
We are a bit prejudiced, but the original mountain bike crew in the Valley who started the ball rolling, er wheels rolling, to get serious about building trails to ride here in the Maine High Peaks, deserve a lot of thanks from all of us who struggle to make a go of our small businesses in the predominantly winter oriented, & snow dependent, local economy. First comes wanting to ride, then comes building the trails properly, then comes more visitors of all ages giving us more jobs year round! Pretty good story, isn’t it!? No wonder Josh is one of WSKI’s favorites….
Hunkering down in WSKI with the Hunker Down guys!
Welcome to Sugarloaf, Jason & Michael & all the crew to come, too! Everyone is looking forward to the new restaurants Hunker Down & Wax On Wax Off in Village West under the direction of Portland restaurateurs who know how to do it right! Good food and atmosphere are essential to the skier experience; plan to get a taste at Hunker Down after Thanksgiving, the sushi burrito bar wax On Wax Off at Christmas. Yum, yay, see you there………
