Carrabassett Valley is no doubt a paradise for outdoor recreation. One thing the town does very well is exposing young people to the activities available right in their own backyard. This holds true for both local kids and kids from away. From Hiking, Paddling, Mountain biking, swimming, golf and so much more there are ample opportunities for the kiddos. Carrabassett Valley Recreation Director Deb Bowker spoke with us and explains what’s available this summer. Don’t worry it’s not too late to join in on any of these activities. The Bag & Kettle Celebrates 50 yrs!
Last Friday The Bag & Kettle had their 50th anniversary celebration. A great afternoon on the beach enjoying some live music and Bag Brews before moving inside for some food and more celebration. Through the years The Bag has been a constant here at the mountain, making it a true Sugarloaf institution.
