On Saturday Aug. 18, there will be a celebration of the anniversary of the last link of the Appalachian Trail’s completion on Aug. 14, 1937, which occured between Sugarloaf & Spaulding Mtn. in the western mountains of Maine. Go to www.matc.org for full details on the day’s events, & plan to be here to help us celebrate this iconic U.S. treasure!
