On July 24th the first ever Carrabassett Backcountry Cycle Challenge was held from the Sugarloaf Outdoor Center. This was a 60 mile endurance race and a huge success!
The race course included the famed Widowmaker challenge loop of years past, as well as the Redington Pond loop, the Bigelow preserve among many other trails in the Carrabassett region. Put this on your list of things to do for the summer of 2012…
