Crocker: a special Place, hopefully Forever!

Wolf Tone of the Trust for Public Land in Maine gives an update on how the fund-raising is going to buy & protect in perpetuity the wilderness of Crocker Mountain & 18,000 acres of its surrounding area down to Orbeton Stream in Phillips. A Crocker Mountain Land Trust project information gathering / ‘friend’ raiser Saturday, January 19, 5:00 – 6:30p.m. at the Rack will be a good place to find out about this huge project! Whether you are a hiker, ATV rider, back-country skier or snowmobiler, this is an important project for our region!
