Thanks to Reed and Reed of Woolwich. The bridges on Route 27 are officially open as of 7:54 pm Tuesday night. A LeBretton truck was waiting at the south end to be the first vehicle to cross the bridges. On the way across the north end bridge, he gave a honk of his horns and a wave to thank the workers as they watched. C.V. Fire Chief Courtney Knapp was on hand to thank the crew for their hard work over the long, rainy weekend.
