In the spring you’ll find the falls raging and sometimes full of kayakers going over the falls. In the summer you’ll find tourists from all over the country stopping to enjoy the sights and take a load off. In the fall though, most of the tourists have headed back south, the leaves start to do their magical thing they do, and often fall rain storms will bring up the level of the water. So, if you’re in the area it’s a must stop that won’t disappoint! … oh, and keep a look out for Greggie’s glasses please. [Read more…]

Make the most of the end of summer out on the lake thanks to The Pines Market

September 3, 2020 by WSKI Leave a Comment

In addition to having absolutely everything you need inside this favorite local store (with wicked good homemade meals & treats available, too)… you can rent canoes, kayaks, tandems, paddleboards, life vests & paddles included, & put them right on the water there at the Pines Market, just past Cathedral Pines Campground in Eustis, on the shore of Flagstaff overlooking the Bigelow Range! It’s magic. Great products & services keep on coming…. Thanks, Johnnie..!
