Maine’s Kirsten Clark – U.S. Ski & Snowboard Hall of Famer

September 13, 2020 by WSKI Leave a Comment

Part of the joy of Mountain Life, is watching kids on the slopes of Sugarloaf, as they grow up & go faster!! We have had a lot of that here, namely Kirsten Clark who caught our attention on the hill in races in the ’80s, then becoming a World Championship medalist, eventually, U.S. Hall of Fame Class of 2012! From Raymond, Kirsten was low-key & calculating, resulting in eight World Cup podiums with one win, thirteen U.S. titles & a World Championship silver medal in super G. We are always so proud of the athletes who represent us around the world, then, now, tomorrow. Cheers!
