Take a Hike: Cranberry Peak

August 21, 2019 by nadene Leave a Comment

Cranberry Peak is the western most peak of the 17 mile long Bigelow Range. About 6 miles round trip, it’s a great hike to give you a taste of what hiking on the Bigelows is like. Spectacular views with some cool natural features along the way keep it interesting. Check out the video and make your plans to hike it soon!

*Driving directions: From the south, take rt 27 past the Sugarloaf access road towards the village of Stratton. Just before reaching Stratton turn right (north) onto Currie St. At the end of Currie St. is the parking area and start of the Bigelow Range Trail/ Cranberry Peak trail.
